In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zum 1er Cru Gewächs „Morgeot“ auf kalkhaltigem Mergelboden gelegen. 12-monatiger Barrique-Ausbau, anschließend noch einmal 4 Monate im Tank.

Im Glas strahlendes Goldgelb. In der Nase Aromen von reifer Zitrus, Birne, ein Hauch Quitte  sowie weiße Blüten, weißer Pfeffer und eine gut eingebundene Barriquenote. Am Gaumen vollmundig und körperreich. Ideal zu Fischgerichten in Sauce.

"The 2020 Chassagne villages bottling is definitely showing the addition of the younger vine fruit from Caillerets in it this year, as the wine is very refined aromatically, offering up scents of apple, pear, a fine base of chalky minerality, lemon blossoms and a deft touch of new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, bright and full, with fine focus and grip, zesty acids, a fine core of fruit and a long, soil-driven and quite elegant finish."
